High power LED photoreactor for continuous flow applications
The Uniqsis PhotoSyn has been designed to provide scientists with a high power LED light source for continuous flow applications.
Standard available wavelengths are 365nm, 455nm and 530nm. These are available both as single and switable, mixed wavelength units. Customised units (e.g. 385nm, 420nm) are available on request.
PhotoSyn is supplied with a high output programmable power supply (up to 700W) that has USB, serial (RS232) and ethernet (TCP/IP) connectivity to enable remote control.
The curved, water cooled LED arrays focus the available light on the central coil reactor to maximise photon intensity. Chromed (reflective) coil reactors are available in sizes up to 52ml.
The PhotoSyn has been carefully engineered to completely prevent potentially hazardous light emissions from the unit, and is protected with interlocks that deactivate the light source if any attempt is made to remove the cover whilst in operation. In addition, a fan both prevents the build up of static hot air within the lamp unit and removes any vapour that may accumulate in use.
The PhotoSyn is compatible with the Uniqsis Cold Coil II (shown fitted opposite) and Polar Bear Plus Flow reactor modules. These reactor modules are available separately and provide effective, independent control of the flow reactor temperature.
